Abstract: As behavior analysts expand their scope into the field of exercise and physical wellness, the need to provide an inclusive environment for those with marginalized identities is met with pre-existing obstacles. Recognizing the toxic fitness culture, embedded racism, and ableism should remain an active goal. The event provides a learning opportunity to expand one’s scope where learning objectives include being given tools to self-assess implicit bias, engage cultural humility, and learn how the principles of stimulus equivalence can be applied as they relate to colonized culture.
