Abstract: As behavior analysts expand their scope into the field of exercise and physical wellness, the need to provide an inclusive environment for the LGBTQAI+ community is met with pre-existing obstacles. Creating an affirming culture remains an ethical responsibility for practicing behavior analysts. The event provides a learning opportunity to expand one’s scope where learning objectives include determining sociological factors which play a key role in client participation of the service, measurable and specific actions which will affirm their LGBTQIA+ clients, learn about minority stress and its impact on client health, as well as ethical considerations and practices.
